Facts, claims, and commentary
Documented facts are cited so a reader can open the source. Claims, press paraphrases, and commentary are labeled as such. An FEC vendor line is not a “grant.” A FARA registration is a disclosure, not a finding of covert agency. A controller refusal or budget fix is not a criminal conviction. Filing ≠ finding. Press release ≠ holding.
Money books stay separate
This site separates campaign FEC vendor disbursements, nonprofit 990 contractor payments, California taxpayer contracts, small federal awards, and FARA foreign-principal fees. Mash-ups that treat all of them as one “government grant” pile are rejected.
